Childcare & School Support

Our CACHE & OCNLR childcare and school support qualifications are a ladder for success and they will give you the knowledge and skills to make a real difference to the children and young people you will help.
  • Learner and Employer Focused - they are designed to meet your needs and the needs of your employers.
  • Accessible - our accredited CACHE provision offers part time study combined with workplace assessment

Childcare & Home Based Childcare

It may be that you would like to work with babies or young children, at home as a childminder or nanny, in a children's centre, in a nursery or reception class attached to a school or in other early years settings where children are cared for. If any of these roles appeal to you then these are the qualifications you need to consider taking.

School Support

Supporting learning either in schools, colleges, universities or in the community is not just about working in the classroom. The traditional role of a Teaching Assistant has become increasingly varied and now there are many different positions and jobs available in an education setting.

Perhaps you would like to work alongside a teacher in a primary or secondary school. You might wish to support a child or young person who has learning difficulties who attends a mainstream setting. You might have considered working in a school in an administrative, technical or other support role rather than directly supporting children in the classroom.

All courses Level 2 and above require you to take an Initial Assessment Telephone 020 3045 5176 to book a place.
